The Utah Reset Retreat is a transformative journey designed to help breast cancer survivors reconnect with themselves, rediscover their inner strength, and build lasting bonds with others who share similar experiences. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Zion’s towering red cliffs and serene landscapes, this retreat is a perfect blend of adventure, reflection, and renewal. Participants will “climb their mountain,” both literally and metaphorically, during guided hikes that challenge and inspire, while meaningful ceremonies and conversations foster a sense of community and healing. The experience is enriched by nourishing meals, grounding meditations, and personalized massages that honor each woman’s mind, body, and spirit. More than just a getaway, the Utah Reset Retreat offers a sacred space for survivors to embrace joy, find clarity, and leave feeling empowered to move forward with renewed hope and purpose.
We received an outpouring of heartfelt video submissions from women across New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, each sharing what this journey would mean to them. Narrowing down the responses to just six participants was incredibly difficult, as every story reflected remarkable courage and hope. Please watch the compilation video to learn more about the inspiring women who will be joining us this year.
"This trip was one of the greatest gifts I’ve ever received-thank you Move Over Breast Cancer."
The Move Over Breast Cancer trip truly changed my life. Just two weeks after finishing active treatment at 28 years old, I was still reeling from the trauma of the past year. While I had a strong support system, I didn’t have anyone who truly understood what I was going through, until this retreat. The weekend gave me space to relax, connect, and reflect alongside fellow survivors who got it.
"Our beautiful hike in Zion showed me that even after my body has been beaten down by chemotherapy, radiation, multiple surgeries, and continued medications with side effects, I can fight back, rise above, and be stronger than ever."
It’s hard to put into words what this trip meant to me. After three years of breast cancer treatment, I’ve often felt alone and never truly had space to grieve or heal. I just kept going. This retreat allowed me to slow down, face my diagnosis head-on, and finally breathe.
"The retreat taught me that I am a conqueror, I am a fighter, I am resilient, and I can do anything I set my mind to."
As I reflect on the Reset Retreat to Utah, the first words that come to mind are gratitude and transformation. I arrived expecting connection, laughter, and perhaps a few tears, but what I experienced went far beyond anything I imagined. The retreat changed how I move through my days; I now wake up with peace, calm, and joy that no one can shake.
"I arrived on Thursday feeling drained, but departed on Sunday revitalized, empowered, and ready to conquer the world."
I returned from the transformative Reset Retreat, humbled and deeply grateful to have been selected. I didn’t realize how much I needed this experience until I was in it. With the support of seven incredible women, I found the strength to reach the summit of Scouts Lookout and it was a symbol of the emotional and physical healing we shared.
"I told my nurse I wanted to climb to the mountaintop and scream for joy to celebrate the end of treatment—and I did that in Zion National Park!"
Thank you so much for the opportunity to experience this unforgettable trip to Utah. It exceeded all my expectations. I had just finished treatment in January, and when asked how I wanted to celebrate, I said I wanted to climb a mountain and scream with joy! And that’s exactly what I did in Zion.
